Workshops
Attending groups and workshops can provide a unique environment to learn about ourselves, empowering us to heal and grow. Taking part can offer an invaluable sense of support, community and belonging.
I am passionate about utilising creative imagination, art, dance and embodiment practices to support people with personal development, direction in life and taking time out for self-care.
I am available to facilitate bespoke therapeutic workshops on a variety of topics using the creative arts, mindfulness-based breathing exercises, visualisations and dance.
I am a licensed Dance of Awareness™ teacher and group facilitator. I trained under Clare Osbond and Tim Brown of the Devon School for Embodied Therapy.
Dance of Awareness is a therapeutic dance method based on developmental psychology; body-centred psychotherapy; Five Rhythms dance; Authentic Movement; Dance Movement Psychotherapy. This group movement practice aims to increase self-awareness and self-acceptance supporting wellbeing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. It is a unique way of working with movement and awareness through the lens of development of the self, particularly the first five years of life. There are no steps to learn or dance experience necessary... all are welcome!
